Madhubani painting is an Indian folk art. It was traditionally done by the women of various communities in Mithila region of  India and Nepal. Madhubani paintings mostly depict the humans & its association with nature & the scenes from the ancient time. Natural objects like the sun, the moon, and religious plants like tulsi are also widely painted, along with scenes from the ancient royal court and social events like weddings. In this style of painting each and every part of canvas is filled with detailed back ground. Dinni Kaur takes this style to another level and that is what she teaches in her online classes. She does not limit herself to the commonly used subjects for this form of art, she works with any subject student wants to work with and create a Madhubani painting out of that. Usually it takes minimum 3 classes to complete one Madhubani painting. If you sign up for 6 classes you will complete 2 paintings and if you sign up for 12 classes you will complete 4 paintings.

• Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener, Acrylic paints, Brushes, Canvas (1 canvas for one class, 2 canvases for 6 classes & 6 canvases  for 12 classes) 
• For Virtual classes video chat capable device and a wifi connection at the time of the class is needed.
• If you want us to provide material, we have an option for you to buy it from us and curbside pick up is available at our Hicksville NY or Elmont NY location.

• These are virtual.
• Our main studio is closed due to COVID. 
• We still are doing limited in person classes with small groups and private sessions. For this option please call for details.
• ​​Step by step instructions given on a video chat or in-person.
• You are required to have a smart phone or tablet and wifi at the time of the class. If you could connect it to your TV its a plus if not its not required.
• You will download an app  (zoom.us) we will send you the link to connect.
• Before the class starts you will set up the phone or tablet camera such that we could see what you are doing and you will see our instructions on that screen.
• ​​We have no refund policy only rescheduling is allowed with 24 hr notice before class starts.
